Oak

Trees in the Quercus genus are grand, long-lived specimens. Oaks typically produce abundant acorn crops around age 20, smaller crops at a younger age. Acorns are loved by wildlife of all kinds.  Be aware that livestock such as cattle, sheep, goats and horses can be affected by oak toxicity when leaves are consumed in large amounts.
