What can be added to soil to encourage blueberry's? I have several planted for five years with no growth, or fruit. Currently they are less than 2 feet tall leaves are abundant and healthy looking, with normal red color in fall.

A few things to keep in mind for fruiting. Make sure the blueberries have full sun. Do you have a variety that needs another blueberry variety for pollination? Have you done a soil pH test? You may need to amend your soil with a soil acidifier there are a few products on the market that you could choose from. I would suggest going to a local hardware store and see what they have to offer for soil amending. Have you experienced a late frost that the flowers never get to set fruit? Do you have enough pollinators in the area?

My bluecrop blueberry plant that I ordered is doing well in my yard, thanks! Do you treat the roots with the special fungi before they come to me?
Question by: Jeff Ulmer on Jul 1, 2021, 7:35 AM
We dip all of our bare root nursery stock in the Super gel that does contain Ectomycorrhizal fungi, but when you do the root soak for 6-8 hours most likely that is washed off the roots. Possibly there is still some left on the roots when you planted.

Best time to plant?
Question by: CARL HARTMANN on May 2, 2022, 4:43 PM
We believe springtime is the best time to plant. This allows the plants a full growing season to properly establish their roots.
