Question by: Natasha Birchard on Oct 19, 2018, 12:00 AM
White Spruce and Red Pine are suitable for Zones 2-6. Blue Spruce is suitable for Zones 2-7. White Pine is suitable for Zones 3-8.

Should I use tree tubes with these and if so for how long?
Question by: Joe Bonnell on Nov 25, 2018, 8:02 PM
The SunFlex Grow Tube System which we offer is meant specifically for hardwoods. If you have a concern with deer damage, the Spruce and Red Pine are safe, as deer don't care for them unless there is absolutely nothing else for them to eat. As for the White Pine, deer find them to be quite tasty! We recommend caging or fencing. You could certainly use a repellent, instead. We offer Plant Saver and Plantskydd Animal Repellent.
