Dogwood
Multiplying by rhizomes, the dogwoods provide attractive screening and cover. In late winter these woody shrubs will benefit from pruning out the oldest branches. Dogwood are a valuable food plant for various wildlife. Red Osier color is most brilliant on younger stems.
