Our all natural granular deer and rabbit repellent is also effective at repelling elk, opposum and moose. Sprinkle liberally on the ground around the plants you want to protect, or fill the muslin bags and hang at nose level in the area of concern.
Our organic Plant Saver™ Deer & Rabbit Repellent is a safe and effective granular formula used to keep deer & rabbits away from your newly planted seedlings or garden. Plant Saver™ can be applied directly to the ground by hand or placed into our fabric bags. The filled fabric bags are then hung every 4 to 6 feet on trees or garden fences at a height of 2 to 4 feet off of the ground in the area you want to protect. Will also repel elk, opossum and moose!
This organic formula is rain proof and keeps its effectiveness for 4 to 6 months when placed into bags, or 2 to 3 months when applied directly to the ground. Approximately 1 lb. of Plant Saver™ Deer & Rabbit Repellent will cover 384 linear feet if the product is suspended every 4 to 6 feet in muslin bags. Organic formula is safe on all plants and vegetables.
Note: No deer or animal repellent product can be guaranteed to work in every situation or take the place of a physical barrier.

How much of this product and how big of an area should you do around new seedlings when applied to the ground?
Question by: Patrick Rongstad on Jan 16, 2021, 8:36 PM
Sprinkle liberally. I don't have an exact amount to share, since this will vary on what you are protecting. You want to make a perimeter around the plant. You are trying to create a scent barrier that they do not want to cross. You need to reapply every two to three months when sprinkled on the ground.

Is this product safe to use around dogs?
Question by: Pete Michaletz on May 11, 2021, 3:22 PM
The ingredients in Plant Saver will not cause your dog any harm, as none of them present any health hazard. In the event the dog ingested one or more of the hanging bags, that could present an obvious problem, just as any ingested material could cause a blockage if enough was consumed.

I just purchased the product and put out the bags in my yard. 3 bags have been taken, ripped from the place they were hanging. Are the contents attractive to raccoon, fox, coyote or other animals?
Question by: kathleen s on Aug 26, 2021, 6:44 PM
Unfortunately, sometimes raccoons are responsible for tearing through the fabric bags. They can be attracted to the ingredients since it is bone and meat meal. You can either replace and fill bags or sprinkle on the ground instead for deer protection.

How long will Plant Saver keep? What is the expiration date?
Question by: Dana on Apr 20, 2022, 8:07 PM
Plant Saver has a 2 year shelf life as long as the packaging is properly resealed after use, and the product is stored in a place that does not get large temperature swings.
