Moorpark Apricot Tree

The Moorpark Apricot Tree has white-pink blossoms in spring and sweet, juicy fruit from July to late August. This selection produces larger apricots than most others. The Moorpark Apricot is a fast growing tree that is self pollinating. However, if you want a larger crop, plant more two or more trees within 25 feet of each other. These apricots are good for eating fresh, for canning or made into freeze-dryed snacks. This easy to grow apricot produces fruit that is high in vitamin A and C as well as high levels of heart healthy antioxidants.

Product Questions

Will deer eat the tree itself?

Any young tree seedling is going to be tasty to try for the deer to try. We recommend caging or protecting in some manner until the trees get to sizeable enough to withstand any deer browse or rubbing.
