Maple
Trees in the Acer genus are some of the most favored ornamentals for planting in the home landscape, along streets, and in parks. All maples bear pairs of winged seeds. Many have lobed leaves, a few have leaves separated into leaflets. Sugar maple and red maple are fine shade trees.
